$3.6 Million Verdict In Misdiagnosis Lawsuit
The family of a 47 year old Maryland lawyer who died as a result of misdiagnosed skin cancer, has been awarded $5.8 million in a medical malpractice lawsuits. However, under the Maryland damages law, the verdict will be reduced to $3.6 million. A Montgomery County Circuit Court jury returned the verdict in the case of Richard Semsker who died in 2007. The case was filed by attorney Patrick Malone on behalf of Semsker’s wife.
