$2.4 Million Subway Lawsuit Payout
Mayor Bloomerg expressed dismay over a jury’s recent decision to award $2.3 million to Dustin Dibble, who lost part of his leg under a subway train after falling onto the tracks drunk in 2006. Bloomberg told reporters, “I wasn’t sitting in the courtroom. I wasn’t on the jury. But on the face of it, you’d think there’s a personal responsibility here.
