FDA Opinion on Vaccines, Mercury, & Autism
…The 2007 petition demanded immediate removal of mercury based preservatives from FDA regulated products and a recall of existing stocks. The new petition reiterated the argument that thimerosal containing medicinal preparations cause autism, that they have not undergone adequate safety testing, and that federal employees and scientific advisors have negligently enabled harm and have conspired to conceal the supposed dangers of vaccines. The 2007 petition asserted that human influenza vaccines are ineffective, and demanded that the FDA immediately revoke the licenses of all flu vaccines, whether or not they contain thimerosal.
